About Us
The Southeastern Wildlife Conservation Group (SWCG) is a Non-Profit Organization
created with a mission to “Protect, Conserve and Re-establish the Southeastern United
States diminishing wildlife and their habitats.” This will be accomplished through
various pro-active programs to include but not limited to; (a) collaborations with
State, Federal and Local Governments; (b) improvements to Parks, Refuges, Wildlife
Management Areas, and Forests to increase visitor participation in turn increasing
conservation education; (c) construct conservation education facilities and sites
for use by elementary, middle and high school systems to educate the student population;
(d) land acquisitions to ensure natural habitats remain in populated areas and to
be used as educational venues for students and the general public; (e) trash and
pollution removal; (f) initiatives to assist in the fight against global warming;
(g) and efforts to support the survival of animal species and the protection of their
habitats.
Through a collaborative effort between the Southeastern Wildlife Conservation Group, Government Agencies, other Conservation Groups, Corporations and the general populous, we, together can make a difference in this world. Protecting, conserving and re-establishing the South's natural environments will be a great benefit to us all today and to all those in the future that continue on after us.
